welcome to athens! unpack, meet the other gals and start exploring. athens is the perfect place for wandering and it has some amazing shopping spots too, kolonaki is one of our favourite areas. this evening we'll meet up for a big welcome dinner and enjoy our first greek sunset together - what a perfect first day!

day 2

morning gals! we'll have a jam packed first morning as we explore athens with our amazing guide. we'll explore athens' hidden gems and cultural hotspots. after we head to the ancient acropolis parthenon, built to be home to athena, greek goddess of the city. afterwards, we head to the artsy neighbourhood of exarchia and maybe go to some vintage shops too. we'll spend the evening getting to know each other over some local food - honey baked feta anyone? it's a must try when it comes to greek food!! 🍯

day 3

mamma mia vibes in milos 🏝️

this morning we are up early for our first ferry over to milos ⛴️⛴️ the ferry has everything you need from snacks to amazing views. after checking in at our hotel, which is only a walk away from the port, the afternoon is all yours - think beach strolls, salty dips, or unwinding with a book and a view. pure island bliss! we will meet back up in the evening for a gorgeous group dinner along the coast for milos.

day 4

sunrise yoga & exploring milos island 🧘🏼‍♀️

we’ll kick off with a soul-soothing island yoga sesh, then it’s off on a private land tour of milos! think: caves, catacombs and ancient ruins... we'll check out klima and mandrakia which are the most charming fisherman's villages - then dinner tonight is all up to you!

day 5

santorini sunsets 🌅

today we catch the ferry to santorini where we'll stay in the beachfront area of perissa. we're close to some lovely beach bars, cute restaurants and quirky shops. In the late afternoon we're going wine tasting, santorini produces some of the most delicious wine in the world and we'll get to try the very best. drinking wine as the sun goes down - this really is the dream! we'll then head to oía and fira to check out the iconic blue domes and the best sunset spot santorini has to offer 🌞

day 6

sunset cruise, volcano hike & hotsprings 🌋

after a slow day exploring santorini's bakeries and independent shops or just chilling with a book, we’ll set sail on a sunset cruise through santorini’s volcanic magic. hike the crater, float in hot springs, then enjoy your final night in paradise with stunning views of the coastline. we even get golden hour on the water, which is the most perfect way to end our last full day alotgether <3

I recently travelled with Gals Who Travel on their Greece Island Hopping trip, and I can honestly say it was the best trip I’ve ever been on.

We started in Athens before heading to Milos and Santorini, and every part of the journey was incredible. One of the best things about the trip was meeting 10+ amazing women who all shared the same mindset wanting to explore the world but not necessarily having someone to travel with. The group dynamic was fantastic, and everyone clicked so easily.

The trip was planned so well that there was nothing to worry about or organise. All you have to do is book your flight, show up, and enjoy the experience. The accommodation was beautiful, and the activities were the perfect mix of culture, adventure, and fun. We got to learn about Greek history and experience iconic sights while still enjoying those relaxing, girly holiday vibes.

Milos was by far my favourite island. I had never even heard of it before this trip, but I completely fell in love with it. The fishing villages were stunning, the restaurants were incredible, and the views were absolutely breathtaking.

This trip is perfect for anyone who wants to travel comfortably without backpacking, while still seeing and experiencing as much as possible in a short amount of time.

This was my second trip with Gals Who Travel, and I’ve already booked another adventure to Australia this December, which says it all! I can’t wait.

I would highly recommend Gals Who Travel to any woman who wants to explore the world, meet like-minded people, and make the most out of life.

The BEST trip ever!!! i went on the greece trip and has the most insane time. everything was planned for us - all we had to do was book our flights & show up!! it was so lovely to be a peace of mind, not having to worry about booking any activities or transfer, everything was all sorted for us. Our guide Rhy was absolutely incredible and took care of everything, she even had our ferry tickets ready for us, making it so easy to hop on and off as we travelled around the islands. I will never ever forget the core memory of the sunset boat cruise, we had the most unbelievable sunset swim, and even hopped off for a short volcano hike. the whole trip was magical from start to finish and I could not recommend it enough to anyone who is wanting solo travel but worried about going entirely alone. I have truly made friends for life on this trip and feel so lucky to have explored and experienced greece the gals who travel way <3

yess!!! nearly 90% of our gals come solo so don't worry!!! you'll get added to a group chat before you even land in athens, so you're already chatting with your gals and tour leader before day one starts.

what is the currency in greece?

the currency is euros.

should i bring a backpack or suitcase?

as this trip is island hopping we'll be hopping on and off ferries to get from athens to milos and milos to santorini!! it's completely up to you on how you pack but a smaller suitcase or backpack would be easier for these journeys!!

who will be leading my trip?

Every tour is led by one of our incredible gals who leaders! They are all fully trained, LOVE to travel and know all the hidden gems in the areas they are showing you!! we believe the best way to see a destination is through the eyes of the locals that live there so learn, try and experience it all!!
