we’re heading right into the heart of sri lanka to dive into all the culture, colour, and charm this place has to offer. first up, the dambulla cave temple, a magical spot carved right into the rock. then we’re off to see the golden buddha, a giant statue sitting pretty on a hilltop. after a bit of exploring, we’ll head to our next stay for the night. time to check in, freshen up, and soak in those unreal views of sigiriya rock. get ready, gals, we’re climbing up there early tomorrow morning!

so it’s your first early start. this morning we’re heading to the top of one of sri lanka’s most famous landmarks - lion rock! this proper beauty is a UNESCO world heritage site; the giant rock formation standing nearly 700ft tall is well worth the trek up. once we’ve made our way back down, it’s time for a feast back at the hotel before heading back out to explore the town. this afternoon, we’re heading to a beautiful, authentic, local farming village. tonight we'll have our dinner cooked by the loveliest locals, we'll catch a small boat across for authentic farmer experience. enjoy a tasty, authentic meal around a crackling bonfire with our locals as they welcome you too, into their homes and our community.

today we’re diving back into sri lanka’s history with a trip to kandy, home to the iconic temple of the tooth, tucked inside the old royal palace complex. after soaking up all that royal energy, we’ll wind down with sunset views over kandy city, from a cute local restaurant.

rise and shine! today we’re up bright and early to cruise through the dreamy town of nuwara eliya, think rolling hills and misty mountains. first stop: a local tea plantation, where we’ll learn how your favourite tea goes from leaf to cup. next up, we’re heading to a super cute family-run cooking school to learn how to whip up some of sri lanka’s most iconic dishes. get ready to taste everything because it’s seriously delish! then it’s time for the grand finale of the day, hopping aboard the most scenic train journey in all of asia! we’ll roll through the amazing landscapes, spot waterfalls and wildlife along the way. next stop: the chilled little town of ella. this place is pure magic!

today, we are headed to some of the most iconic and beautiful spots in ella. we'll start with a morning at the famous nine arch bridge - if we're lucky, we might even see a train or two pass through. this bridge is a perfect photo opportunity. after snapping a few photos and taking in the amazing sights, we'll have some lunch before heading over towards little adams peak. we'll climb up for a stunning view of ella gap - a gorge full of beautiful waterfalls and stunning backdrops.

we’re starting things off with a visit to the neighbouring waterfalls ahead of a day at udawalawe national park. now that’s how to start a day. the bucket list moments don't stop there because our next activity is a safari! look out for elephants, monkeys and buffalo, to mention just a few. after that magical experience, we’ll check into our glamping spot for the evening. don’t forget to look up as the stars are pretty spectacular.

after a fun-filled day of waterfalls and wildlife yesterday, it’s time to sprinkle in a little history today with a visit to galle fort! we’re visiting this UNESCO World heritage site, which is one of the oldest living forts in the world, packed with charm and stories waiting to be discovered. wander through the perfect mix of historic nooks and modern vibes, and get ready to explore to your heart’s content. In the afternoon, we’ll head back to the hotel to relax and maybe head to the beach if you fancy it!

for our second-to-last day, we’re heading to the stunning golden sands of the beach on the other side. soak up some vitamin d, have a swim in the sea, enjoy the simple pleasures and beauty of the shore and maybe even see a turtle! What a life, gals! once we're all sun-kissed, we’ll head back to the hotel for our farewell dinner. we hope you’ve still got those tissues!
