you've made it! you're here and it's time to start your trip of a lifetime! take advantage of your airport pick-up in the bustling capital of manila or meet us directly at the hotel in the lively district of makati. put your feet up (it's been a long journey and you deserve it). we give everyone time to relax, settle in and of course catch some wifi! you've arrived in paradise, so update your Instagram story to let everyone know that yes, you are in the philippines! later on, you'll meet your guide and the rest of your group for welcome drinks and dinner where you'll make the first of many incredible memories!
travel to palawan & local family lunch
today we board a plane which becomes a plane full of gals who explorers on their way to puerto princesa, the gateway to palawan AKA paradise! we travel by private minivans to the idyllic and unspoilt fishing town of port barton. on the way we stop to have lunch with a local family, taste some local cuisine, and grasp an understanding of their island lifestyle, whilst sipping on our favourite island drink of all time - a fresh coconut. after checking in to our hotel in port barton, enjoy the first of many idyllic filipino sunsets, coconut or cocktail in hand, before venturing out to grab dinner with the gals.

it’s not every day we get to wake up in paradise, especially when the water is so crystal clear blue, so today we hope on a traditional banca boat to explore the gorgeous waters. it's time for some snorkelling we explore some of palawan’s most beautiful spots filled with rainbow corals and maybe even a few turtles if we’re lucky! we stop island hopping for a delicious local-style lunch, and then we have a few hours to chill and take in the incredible scenery surrounding us. after a magical day of island life, we sail back to port barton for some dinner and drinks!
let's go to el nido
this is one of our favourites, and most certainly a place you will never forget ❤️ el nido is one of the most gorgeous places we have ever seen. this is where paradise truly begins. el nido is known for producing one of the best sunsets in the world, so after arriving at lunchtime and settling in, we head out for dinner and watch the sun go down in one of the most beautiful places on earth. some of the local bars around here are super fun, so if you fancy it head out with some of the gals and enjoy.
el nido snorkeling
today is all about even more island hopping! you will see some of the most gorgeous lagoons in bacuit bay where you have the option to try some snorkeling. it’s a place you will never want to leave but at least you have ticked it off the bucket list. we head back before sunset so that you gals have some downtime to chill and relax. then we will all meet up for some dinner and reflect on probably one of the best days ever!
nacpan beach & zipline
now that we’ve experienced el nido by water it’s time to explore it by land and what better way to do this than zooming from beach to beach on the most scenic zip line? after that, we wind down on one of the most famously pristine beaches of the philippines - nacpan beach. gals, with gorgeous palm trees towering over you this will be one of the most scenic beaches you have seen!
castaway experience, snorkelling & cooking class 🌟
today we head to daracotan Island, where we explore shipwrecks along with a guided tour of the island. this is where you will experience the castaway vibes as this island is only home to 88 residents. we get the most incredible opportunity to meet a local family, hear fascinating tales of the local heritage, and learn how tourism positively impacts their lives today. in the evening, we take part in a traditional local cooking demonstration where we get to eat filipino style! this is where we get to taste delicious local delicacies and dine together. a gorgeous evening, ending with a cute gathering around the bonfire, just us gals.
travel to coron
it’s time for a nice relaxed morning as it has been a jam-packed adventure since we started. before we leave el nido town, take in your last few moments before we catch the ferry to coron, another well-renowned island of palawan. if you fancy a few drinks tonight you can head out with the gals and experience all the fun that coron at night has to offer.
coron boat trip day!!!
gals, today is our last full day together so we know it’s got to be extra special, so we squeeeeze in one last adventure. we hop on a boat to explore the beauty the island of coron has to offer. we'll take you around the gorgeous coron bay and then the most incredible underwater mountains. for the afternoon, we’ll head to the beach and soak up the sun, sea and sand in our tropical paradise. after that, we head back for one last dinner altogether with the gals before we prepare ourselves to say goodbye to our new besties tomorrow.
chilled check out
it’s sadly time for check out and to say goodbye to all the gals. our gals who guide will be on hand to help you with any onward travel, whether you're heading home, joining us on another GWT trip or simply going solo. it’s been the most incredible trip and the memories you shared with what were 20 strangers, you will never forget. don’t forget to stay in touch with each other in your gals who travel philippines group chat too ❤️
hand picked stays
the first stop on our amazing 10-day adventure is manila, the capital of the philippines and our accommodation is in a great location - close to malls, for some shopping and the salcedo saturday market! most importantly it’s super close to loads of nice restaurants and bars so you can get some yummy food and get to know the other gals who are joining the trip. after you dump your bags and meet your new besties, grab a cocktail on the rooftop bar that has great views of the manila skyline or explore the city before we take you for a great dinner! if you fancy it you can also explore manila’s nightlife. each room is air-conditioned and has views of the city (as if the rooftop bar wasn't enough already!)

from city life to the chilled, relaxing beach town of port barton! just a 1-minute walk from your room to the beach, here we stay in some amazing, sustainable cottages on the beachfront... dreamy, right?! cameras at the ready because it has a balcony with amazing views of the sea... no big deal! there's also a restaurant that serves great local grub and some delicious cocktails!
el nido is known for its amazing beaches and lagoon tours, so it's only fitting that we stay somewhere well-located in el nido. the hotel has free WiFi in all areas and a terrace where you gals can chill. it's such a great hotel right in the middle of the action!
our castaway experience is the perfect spot to wind down, relax and take in all the beauty around you. we'll be staying in huts right on the beach on a super small island just a few steps away from the sea and dining area!
onto the philippines' top dive spot - coron. there are lots of nice restaurants and dive shops next to our hotel so it's easy to grab a delicious filipino meal nearby before watching the sunset (our hotel has one of the BEST views of the sunset in town!) so, kick back, grab a sundowner and get ready to be wowwed by the famous filipino sunset! each room has air conditioning and free WiFi.
